In 2000, Tom Kelly founded T-Edward.  Initially established as a SaaS based consultancy, the mission of T-Edward was to serve businesses by providing tools needed to "embrace" components of the Cloud for organizations that had a niche need for process improvements.  But that would soon change and businesses began seeking expertise and guidance to place more, if not all of their processes/operations in the Cloud.

While the company was started in Minneapolis, MN, it soon expanded and currently serves over 30 businesses.  Companies are now seeking to move their entire operations to the Cloud and T-Edward is known as a true innovator in this area.  This spirit of innovation lives on.  In fact, it’s what drives the company and it’s the reason T-Edward is defining the "Embrace the Cloud" space today.

In 2000, companies were responsible for a majority of their IT needs with a limited number of on-premise applications.  However, this is rapidly changing.  Forrester predicts that as companies quickly adopt a variety of Cloud resources, they’ll increasingly have to address working with several different Cloud solutions, often from different providers.  By the end of 2012, Cloud customers will already be using more than 10 different Cloud apps on average.  Cloud assessments, Cloud strategy, implementation and orchestration will become big topics and an opportunity for service providers.  When combined with major advances in technology, the social networking phenomenon and the fact that the web has blown apart information limitations and given us more knowledge than we could use in ten lifetimes, there’s no wonder the rise of the Cloud is taking place and the revolution is on.
